Manuel Antonio is formed by mountainous outcrop juts into the ocean - this creates great oceanviews as one winds along the road from Quepos.

This area's popularity ca me about because of the combination of the beautiful views, excellent beaches and the Manuel Antonio National Park. The Park allows people of all ages to explore a rainforest setting and see monkeys, many birds, crabs and some small mammal species and perhaps even a sloth or two.

La Cantina at Hotel Costa Verde - Two open-air restaurants with grill.
Hotel Byblos - Pizza, pool table.


Quepos town is a fishing port - a marina is located here, also. Ocean fishing can be chartered here. Shopping and dining are available.

Dos Locos - en el centro de Quepos, comidas al estilo mexicano.
Escalofrio - Italian - good pizza and homemade ice cream. Express service available 2777-0833.
Café Milagro - The best breakfast and coffee in the area.  The bakery is of high quality. Local newspapers available.
Karola's - Located across from Cafe Milagro - good food and atmosphere.
El Gran Escape - On the way in to Quepos. They will cook the fish you caught. Excellent service and great food - huge hamburgers and sandwiches.
Sushi-Tropical – Good sushi and you can order from the El Gran Escape next door.
